After a two-year break due to the Covid pandemic, the bigger, better and stronger DEEP and EXTREME INDONESIA (DXI) will be held next month at the Jakarta Convention Center from 1 to 4 September 2022

For the first time, this year’s show will be held in conjunction with INDOFEST so that the entire Jakarta Convention Center will be taken over by Deep and Extreme in Hall A and Indofest in Hall B providing a total area of 10,000 m2 to showcase diving, marine sports, extreme sports and outdoor activities all under one roof.

The tourism sector has suffered a major downturn over the last two years but is now recovering and, due to its immense importance to the domestic economy and employment, the Government and the private sector are now working hard to ensure a total revival of the sector and because of this all the Ministries, Associations and Organizations concerned fully support this year’s event

As in previous years, DXI 2022 will offer a complete range of diving and water sports products, adventure gear, travel agencies, hotels, resorts and marine tourism destinations from across the country. To support the Exhibition, there will be talk shows and seminars related to the marine and diving tourism industry with complete topics ranging from product presentations to conservation awareness. To date, more than 100 exhibiting companies have registered for the exhibition.

Tourism potential in the regions will be a special focus and will be represented by local governments from Indonesia’s five super priority tourism destinations as part of the government’s role in supporting performances and tourism in general.

As part of this regional promotion, DXI will introduce the Labuan Bajo Pavilion along with other exclusive zones at the exhibition such as the water sports pavilion, and an underwater photography area that will feature underwater photo talks and technical discussions.

DXI 2022 will be operated and managed by Xnet Indonesia which introduced the event in 2007. Since its inception, the event has grown to become one of the largest dive shows in the world with more than 180 exhibitors and 30,000 visitors before the pandemic. Therefore, it has now been widely recognized by the government, society, and industry as a national and international event that it has strategic importance for the Indonesian marine tourism industry.

DXI 2002 will operate from 10.00 to 20.00. Daily Entrance tickets to the show will be available on 17 August 2022 by logging in to and can be purchased for IDR 50,000 per person.

Because there is still a Covid-19 Restriction status (PPKM), the show will be held with the covid-19 health protocols under the supervision of the Indonesian Covid-19 Official Task Force in the Jakarta area. Every visitor must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 including booster.
